An exciting opportunity has been created to support the execution of our Supplier Portal as part of Harrods’ Supplier Engagement Strategy. As the Supplier Development Advisor, you will work closely with the Onboarding Manager to ensure suppliers are effectively guided through the onboarding journey, with the ultimate goal of achieving 90% supplier adoption across all categories by August 2025. Your role will focus on implementing the onboarding process, troubleshooting issues, and providing hands-on support to suppliers as they integrate the portal into their daily order management processes.

This role is working on a FTC for 12 months.

About the Role

In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert on the Supplier Portal, assisting suppliers through their setup, training, and hypercare periods. You will manage day-to-day queries, address troubleshooting needs, and provide direct support to suppliers to ensure their successful adoption of the portal. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams—including Projects, Finance, and Buying & Merchandising, you will ensure that supplier needs are met and that the onboarding process aligns with organisational milestones.

By focusing on supplier relationships, offering proactive support, and resolving challenges at an operational level, you will contribute to the seamless integration of the Supplier Portal and the transformation of order management processes for Harrods and its valued suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the execution of the onboarding strategy to achieve 95% Supplier Portal adoption by September 2025, contributing to communication plans, key milestones, and tracking adoption metrics.
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers by providing hands-on guidance, understanding their challenges, and supporting them in successfully adopting the portal.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for suppliers, managing day-to-day communications, attending onboarding calls, and addressing queries during the onboarding journey and hypercare period.
  • Providing troubleshooting support to suppliers, assisting with portal setup and ensuring full understanding of functionalities, escalating complex issues when necessary.

About You

You will be an excellent communicator, as well as highly organised due to the

nature of the role. You will also be PC literate in excel, Microsoft word and SAP.
