Our Project Management Operation are now looking for a Project Manager to join the Retail Projects team.

About the Role

The Retail Project Manager’s prime responsibility is to ensure that all organisational Project Manager Operations procedures are adhered to, project objectives are set and met, and that all benefits are fully realised from the implementation.  Successful delivery will be achieved through adherence to standard project management methodology and best practice within the profession and in line with Harrods Portfolio Management Office controls and procedures.

This Project Manager role will provide project management expertise and lead internal and external teams from a variety of technical & business disciplines to deliver transformational change within Private Shopping. This will not only involve the production of detailed plans and project documentation, but also continual leadership of project boards and teams of individuals involved for successful project delivery through the provision of support and guidance.

This role is  a 12 month fixed term contract. It is Monday to Friday office hours and is hybrid.

About You

You will be comfortable being at the helm of large scale projects, providing continuous leadership, support, and guidance to ensure successful project delivery. Your knack for ensuring projects meet quality standards, adhere to timelines, and stay within budgetary constraints will be put to the test as you oversee a range of initiatives.

You will also:

  • Be confident working closely with key stakeholders including the senior leadership team, senior suppliers, and external third parties.
  • Have a proven track record in change management within the retail sector.
  • Flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Have excellent attention to detail which will be evident through project plans and documentation.
  • Embody a strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to Harrods values.
  • Have the ability to perform duties effectively with minimum supervision and guidance
