We have an exciting opportunity for an Online Trade Assistant Manager to join our Digital team here at Harrods. This role is responsible for delivering a data-driven merchandising and trading strategy, optimizing the online customer journey, and ensuring seamless collaboration between Buying, Marketing, and Digital teams.

About the Role

The Online Trade Assistant Manager will own and refine the category, brand, and product hierarchy, ensuring a strategic and customer-first approach to site navigation and merchandising. You will be monitoring weekly and monthly trade performance, analysing key metrics such as sales, demand, conversion rates, AOV, and returns.

You will also;

  • Ensure seamless execution of all promotional activities, including seasonal campaigns, sale events, and exclusive launches.
  • Manage the Online Trade Assistant, ensuring accurate and timely execution of product uploads, categorization, and data management.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for the Online Trade Assistant, ensuring best practices in digital operations.
  • Act as the key point of contact for online trade queries from Buying, Retail, Concessions, and Customer Service teams.

About You

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with a proactive approach, able to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and drive solutions that improve performance. They should be commercially driven, highly analytical, and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of online trading, digital merchandising, and e-commerce KPIs.

You will also have the following;

  • Previous years’ experience in an e-commerce trading, digital merchandising, or online commercial role.
  • Experience in sales reporting, performance analysis, and forecasting.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • A keen interest in retail, luxury, and brand positioning within the market
