Uniquely You: Analius Silva

🌎 I was born in Venezuela but grew up in Spain, mostly in La Coruña. I love the culture there – it feels like home. They have the best paella and tortilla and, at Christmas, there’s this soup called callos, made with white beans, chorizo and vegetables. It’s such a comforting dish for me. I’m heading back to Spain to spend time with family this Christmas and we will have an epic Christmas dinner. It is always so special – prawns, lamb, chicken salad, potatoes and rice. It’s a feast, and the atmosphere is always full of laughter and joy. I have such a huge family – four siblings and then lots of cousins. I love spending Christmas with them.

🐈 In London, I have a British Shorthair named Charlie Brown. He’s this cheeky, playful brown cat, and he’s such a cutie. His birthday is on 13th June, so he’s a Gemini – and he’s got the personality to match! Very cute, not so demure.

📱TikTok is my guilty pleasure – I could scroll for hours. My TikTok For You page is a total mix; I’m a Christian, so there’s some faith content, but equally you can find lots of cats, K-drama, make-up tutorials and, of course, fashion trends. Working at Rag & Bone, I’ve got to keep up on those trends…

📺 I’m a huge K-drama fan. Literally obsessed! In fact, I watch so much K-drama, I’m picking up the language. *Adds speaking Korean to resume*. It’s such a beautiful language and culture. For classic romcoms, my favourites are Lovely Runner and Crash Landing on You. Then, I enjoy a bit of action; one of my top picks in that genre is Bloodhounds. As for my favourite actors, they would have to be Ji Chang-wook, Cha Eun-woo, and Byeon Woo-seok. They’re handsome, funny, and truly talented actors.

🌅 My morning routine starts with a glass of warm water – it’s a new habit, but it’s doing wonders for my skin. Thanks, TikTok, for the recommendation. After that, I pray. It’s a small moment of peace before the day begins, setting the day with good intentions. All about your mindset.

🛍️ What I love most about Harrods is the variety of experiences here. I’m constantly meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds. I’m an HMP (Harrods Management Programme) graduate and I’m on the RMP (Retail Management Programme). Everyone has a story to tell, and I enjoy getting to know our customers through conversations. Interacting with people is the best part of my job. Every day is unique because of the diverse people I encounter.

🧥 Working for Rag & Bone, I’ve collected so many timeless pieces. For winter, I’m all about wool coats and tailored blazers – perfect for an everyday chic look. My favourite piece is this black cardigan with silver buttons. It’s shiny, accentuates your waist and has dramatic sleeves. Timeless and wearable all year round. My fashion style could be described as mature and cohesive – pieces that are meant to go together. My looks are tailored and very classy. I love the old-money trend in fashion.
