At Harrods we have started to see more and more customers interested in the bespoke services available across the store; having the option of requesting a garment to be made to your specific needs adds another layer to our exceptional service offerings already available at Harrods. This Made to Measure Tailor role will support with the delivery of the Made-to-Measure processes, supporting the Made to Measure Manager to drive this business to its full potential.

About the Role
The Made to Measure Tailor will be based in our Tailors workroom, working hand-in-hand with the tailors and fitters in the wider team when necessary. You will be provided with an allocation of work, which you will work through ensuring you are maintaining excellent attention to detail whilst meeting deadlines.
You will also be responsible for:
- Working with the Made to Measure Manager to attend fittings, create patterns and prepare toile.
- Present the final garments to clients.
- When required, offer creative solutions to client requests, to ensure the final garment fits with their desired result.
- Maintain clear and effective communication within your own team and across the wider retail teams.
- Manage deadlines.
- Understand and control the demand from your shopfloor stakeholders.
This role is fully on site, working 5 out of the 7 days a week.

About You
To be successful within this position, you will have proven experience in a made to measure role; you will also have experience of providing exceptional customer service and will integrate seamlessly into the Harrods way. You will have proven proficiency in technical skills such as pattern making, sewing, and couture finishes.
We are looking for someone who also possesses the following qualities:
- A genuine interest and passion for craftmanship and sartorial heritage.
- Strong knowledge of the design process.
- An open and transparent nature which values integrity and honesty in all that you do.
