Chef De Partie

We’re currently looking for a Chef de Partie to join our welcoming and close-knit H beauty family at The Champagne Bar in Edinburgh.

Harrods is bringing more magic, innovation, and theatre not only to the beauty market but also to the dining industry through our H beauty standalone stores across the UK. As this is not a normal beauty hall, we are bringing on board some of the highest profile partners in the business and aspire to provide a world class dining experience all within our unique H beauty playgrounds. 

About the Role 

As a Chef De Partie within our h-Beauty Champagne bar, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen, directly managing your Demi Chef and Commis chef with support from the Restaurant Manager.

In this role, you’ll actively provide direction and support to the team to deliver the operational requirements of the day as required. You’ll assist the management in planning and forecasting of stock and orders, also supporting with the organisation, stock rotation and labelling of food stored. You’ll guarantee that Food Safety standards are adhered to by enforcing the high standard of hygiene and sanitation in all-food related outlets

About You

You’ll have previous experience within a professional kitchen, with time spent leading a small kitchen team. This could be within a contract catering unit, bar or restaurant environment. Having great knowledge and a passion for food and drink, you’ll have the ability to perform duties effectively and at the highest standards with minimum supervision and guidance. 

You’ll have great time-management skills and a strong customer focus when dealing with both internal and external parties. You’ll have exceptional interpersonal skills and a good attention to detail, which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and sufficient stock levels.
