Catering Assistant - Nights

Here at Harrods, we currently house more celebrity chefs, and exclusive dining brands than any other location in the UK. We are looking for a Night Catering Assistant to join our passionate, supportive, and successful Production kitchen team, all within our iconic Knightsbridge store.

About the Role

As a Catering Assistant within our night production kitchen, you'll be part of the team who create all the wonderful fresh salads & sandwiches that our unique food hall sells daily. Reporting into the Chef de Partie, you’ll be a key member of the team, whose role is integral to the smooth organisation and delivery of the kitchen operations. 

You’ll be at the heart of the action, preparing and organising ingredients, and keeping the kitchen clean. You’ll be supporting the running of a section by collaborating with the Demi Chef de Partie and other team members ensuring daily preparation levels are completed and complies with the deadlines set. In this role, you’ll guarantee that food safety standards are adhered to by enforcing the high standard of hygiene and sanitation in all food-related outlets.

Please note that this role is a night position, so you must be available to work night shifts from 9pm until 6am.

About You

You’ll be a trustworthy individual, with great time-management skills and able to work well within a team. You’ll have fantastic interpersonal skills and a good attention to detail, which will be evident through the organisation of your section and sufficient stock levels. Having knowledge and passion for food and drink is essential, ideally with some time spent within a busy, high-volume catering environment.

• Competitive salary package of up to £15 p/h (this is made up of a generous base salary plus service charge)*, plus weekly night shift allowance
