Assistant Merchandiser - Fashion

Our dynamic Fashion team are now looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join them here at Harrods.

About the Role 

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Merchandiser in planning, trading, and stock management for key divisions. Your insights and analysis will help shape strategic decisions, ensuring the best product mix for our customers. You’ll collaborate closely with buying teams, monitor sales performance, and optimise stock levels to drive sales and profitability.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Assist in preparing in-season review documents and range plans.
• Analyse sales and stock data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring availability and minimising markdown risks.
• Produce accurate weekly trade reports and highlight trading risks/opportunities.
• Oversee intake and deliveries, resolving shipment issues where needed.
• Support and mentor Merchandise Admin Assistants.
• Liaise with suppliers, buying teams, and internal stakeholders.

About You 

You will be a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Merchandiser with experience in a merchandising role, ideally within multi-brand or luxury retail. You’ll also have strong numerical and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel to interpret sales and stock data effectively (SAP experience is a plus).

You will also have:

• A keen eye for trends and commercial opportunities.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
