Here at Harrods, we currently house more celebrity chefs, and exclusive dining brands than any other location in the UK. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Admin Assistant to join our successful Harrods Restaurants & Kitchens office team and support our daily operations.  

About the Role 

As an Admin assistant, you’ll act as the vital support for the team within the offices of Restaurants & Kitchens. This role will sit in a centralised function that supports the team operations with admin assistance, reporting, database management and tasks that arise from the senior team. 

You’ll provide administration support for the Operations team and chefs, including but not limited to the following responsibilities: 

  • Scheduling meetings and taking meeting minutes as required 
  • Ownership of the processing of service charge for the Restaurants & Kitchens division
  • Process expenses, PO’s and invoices within the Company guidelines/timeframes; manage issues and escalate as required
  • Support with the processing of payroll and recharge as required
  • Ensuring that the necessary actions, paperwork and action plans are produced for internal stakeholders to the required timelines 
  • Participating in the Communications committee 
  • Preparing presentations 
  • Coordinating any project work as required.  

This role will be a fixed term contract for the duration of 1 year.

About You 

You’ll have proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role and an ideally have a clear understanding of the hospitality industry. 
More specifically, you will have: 

  • The ability to work within a fast paced environment and adapt to ever changing priorities
  • Engaging communication skills with the ability to build relationships across a diverse team 
  • Experience working with different stakeholders – both internally and externally
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent working knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. It would be advantageous to also have experience working with Visio and Workday. 
  • Some knowledge or experience working within hospitality
